SBF-SEM (Pronounced "Spiff-Sem")

We are collaborating with Winfried Denk of the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research in Heidelberg Germany to develop tissue preparation and image analysis methods to be used in conjunction with Prof. Denk's revolutionary new Serial-Block-Face Scanning Electron Microscope (SBF-SEM).

We presented a poster at the 2004 Annual Meeting of the Society for Neuroscience in San Diego describing this work. Here is a PDF version of this poster formatted for small file size. It will print on one 8.5 x 11 page but is best read by zooming in on the screen with the Adode Reader.
